Victorian police say a teenage boy was robbed at knifepoint in Melbourne's east last
night after getting off a train.

Police spokesman Senior Constable WAYNE WILSON says the two bandits at Heatherdale
stole the boy's bicycle, then used the knife to slash off his backpack, before they fled
on foot.

He says another knife-wielding bandit robbed a milkbar at inner suburban Brunswick,
grabbing cash from the shop's till before fleeing in a car.
