NSW: Store owner died after being shot twice
Eds: Changes keyword from Critical
An autopsy has revealed that a store owner gunned down in Sydney's north-west was shot
twice at close range.
31-year-old DGURKAN `GARY' MOUSTAFA, was found slumped and dying behind the counter
of his mobile phone shop at Gladesville shortly after midday yesterday.
Police believe his killer used a small calibre weapon, which may explain why no-one
appeared to have heard the shots along the busy Victoria Road.
Inspector KEN MATCHETT says a post mortem examination has revealed that Mr MOUSTAFA
was shot in the head and chest with a revolver.
Police have again appealed to the public for leads.
Detectives are now focusing on the dead man's business and social background to establish
a motive for the slaying.
