LA SALLE JAZZ BAND HITS A HIGH NOTE.(CAPITAL REGION)

Troy La Salle Institute's Cadet Blues Jazz Band Ensemble placed second at the Berklee Jazz Festival in Boston.

The festival included participants from all the New England states, New York, New Jersey, California and Ecuador. The Cadet Blues' overall second placement earned a $2,000 award, which will be used for any summer music programs or enrollment at Berklee.
