SOCIAL MEDIA SEMINARS BEING OFFERED

BROOKSVILLE, Fla., Jan. 10 -- Hernando County issued the following news release:

An interactive, four-part series "Changing Channels: Making the Switch to New Media Marketing" will be offered from 7:45am to noon on February 2, March 9, and April 20 and 5:30 to7:30pm on May 25 at Silverthorn Country Club, 4550 Golf Club Lane, Brooksville, FL.

The interactive workshops will provide an opportunity for local business owners and marketing specialists to learn about new media advertising channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others. Leading industry experts will help participants incorporate proven tactics into their marketing plans, determine a path to success and measure effectiveness.

Keynote speakers include Pam Moore, best-selling author, CEO and founder of FruitZoom, Inc., in Tampa, FL ; Steve Mordue, a Tampa-based Internet marketing and social media partner with Social Media Engine; Kevin Hourigan, president and CEO of Bayshore Solutions in Tampa, FL; and Bernie Borges, Tampa-based author, speaker, trainer and podcaster.

The series is presented by the Hernando County Office of Business Development, Rotary Club of Spring Hill Central, and Saint Leo University, with additional sponsorship from the St. Petersburg Times, The Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce and Hernando Today.

The fee for all four sessions is $199 per person.
